The release of the Sony Xperia 5 III saw the return of the triple camera layout with ZEISS T lenses, all of which ensures a high quality photo and video-taking experience whether you’re a pro, beginner or somewhere in the middle. The telephoto lens seen on previous models in the range received a substantial upgrade that helps make close-up shots even better and crisper. In fact, Sony announced this device was amongst the first to feature a variable telephoto lens paired with a dual pixel diode sensor, allowing it to shoot at 16mm, 24mm, 70mm or 105mm focal lengths, and it uses the dual PD sensor to automatically focus between lengths instantly.
AI processing is used to power a new feature called ‘AI super resolution zoom, which adds missing pixels and has the capability to touch up photos.
