Huawei Mate 30 – Closer to Launch Than Ever Before

Huawei is a company that is taking the world by storm. Their innovative technology is matched only by their unwavering commitment to producing new and exciting products. Their latest product, the Huawei Mate 30, was one which had a release date we weren’t aware of, but it might be coming pretty soon.

It’s also apparently packed full of cool features that will put even the most cutting edge competitors to shame. With functionality that makes it sound like it’ll be a reliable model, we’ll be taking a look at some of the rumours that have developed.

Google – Gone?

One of the lesser-known things at the moment is that Google and Huawei aren’t getting along too well. For any other competitor, this might have spelt doom because Google owns Android OS, the operating system most smartphones use in one form or another.

However, this is Huawei – sour business relations were not about to stop them from pushing ahead. So they have made their version of the software called Harmony OS. It looks to be a pretty advanced piece of technology, and will probably feature in all of their new models going forward. It also means that Android and iOS are not going to be the only operating systems to work with now. Surely, this will change the market in a big way, now that there’s something smooth, powerful and sophisticated to work with which is an independent creation from a major provider.

The Launch Date Is…

So the launch date may have been revealed according to high-tech.mail.ru. Dr Wang Chenglu is Huawei’s Consumer Business Software President, and he has said that the launch will be on the 19th of September in Europe, with Australia getting them a day later on the 20th.

Further rumours are that two handsets are coming out, the Mate 30 and the Mate 30 Pro. They also speculate that the chipset included will be the Kirin 990. An official launch date for this chipset is the 4th of September, at IFA in Berlin. Interestingly enough, it’s a month before Huawei tends to release in October, which is a month after Apple.

Any Other Rumours?

What a lot of people are pleased about is that there are numerous features of the new handsets which make them incredibly exciting for people. One of the screens on one of the handsets is going to be 6.7 inches, although which model this is, we don’t know yet. However, both handsets will have the QHD+ Screen, which is massively desirable.

Photography is a strong suit with Huawei, as they are known to have some of the best cameras in the business. There’s probably going to be at least three lenses, although four is more the norm with smartphones of this generation. You’ve also got two different sizes of battery, either the 3700mAh and 4220mAh, but this probably means that the Mate 30 and the Mate 30 Pro accordingly.
