There are hundreds of leaks of the phone, so much so that you can picture almost every aspect in your head.

Leaks have been floating around since last year surrounding the P40 and just 3 days before their big announcement, we receive a new one. This pushed out the idea of the P40 having a 50MP camera sensor and up to 40W fast wireless charging.

What can we expect?

There’s a huge list of things that Huawei fans are expecting with the announcement of the Huawei P40. The first thing we can expect to find out is the exact release date of the P40. Whether or not this will be the same day or not is still unknown. Due to multiple countries on lockdown at the moment, the Huawei release may be delayed depending on the epidemics outcome. Either way, we should have comfort in knowing that Huawei has a set release date.

A leak that we can expect to be the case is that there will be no Google services on the P40. This was following a ban between Huawei and Google in late 2019. It is believed that Huawei have been working on their very own operating system that will be considered a serious competitor for Android.

Many rumours also suggest that Huawei will follow the trend of other releases and further their way into the 5G market. It wouldn’t come as much of a surprise as Huawei is always making huge technological advances. This handset should be priced at around £100 more than the P30 at it’s release, which compared to competitors is not as high a price.
