Every single year, we see a whole host of new devices and technology hit the mobile phone world and here\u2019s what to expect in 2021. There\u2019s a lot due to happen over the next year. Whilst movements have been stunted in 2020, we\u2019re sure this next year is going to be one of the biggest so far.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

New Samsung Flagship<\/span><\/h2>\n

One of the first big releases of 2021 will be the new Samsung<\/a> flagship phone. If this follow suits, we\u2019re likely to receive the S21 range. This year, we saw some very big differences in the Samsung S20 flagship. From huge camera upgrades to the introduction of the 120Hz refresh rate, we some some huge improvements. With this in mind, it\u2019s likely that we may see only a few small upgrades in the new flagship. These are going to really change the feel and function of the handset whilst not upgrading it too much.<\/span><\/p>\n

5G Advances<\/span><\/h2>\n

Of course, we\u2019ve seen some HUGE uplifts in 5G<\/a> over the last year and a half. With 2021 ahead of us, it\u2019s almost certain that we can expect to see new advances in these networks. Whether that\u2019s areas increasing or the 5G phone market growing, there\u2019s going to be a lot happening. Currently, all major networks have a 5G network. So far, EE has the largest and most reliable 5G network. They were even voted the UKs number 1 5G network in 2020. We\u2019re sure that they\u2019ll hold that title in 2021 too!<\/span><\/p>\n

Brand New iPhone<\/span><\/h2>\n

It\u2019s pretty clear that Apple<\/a> have one of the biggest fan bases in the mobile phone market. Their new releases tend to arrive in the third quarter of each year. Currently, there aren\u2019t too many rumours around what we can expect. That\u2019s probably due to the fact that we just had the release of the iPhone 12 range. When it comes to what we can expect in 2021 from Apple, we\u2019re bound to see a range of 5G handsets, a few new features and maybe even an improved camera system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meeting the New Note<\/span><\/h2>\n

Another thing we can look forward to every single year is a brand new Galaxy Note from Samsung. This tends to arrive in summer of each year and creates a huge buzz. We\u2019re always given the second Samsung event to announce this handset. In 2020, this was online due to the restrictions from Coronavirus. In 2021, it\u2019s unclear as to what sort of event we can expect! Either way, we\u2019ll be able to look forward to a new Note with an upgraded S-Pen. There\u2019s a lot we\u2019ll be able to enjoy from Samsung next year.<\/span><\/p>\n

What else?<\/span><\/h2>\n

As well as these huge release due to arrive next year, there\u2019s a lot more to expect in 2021. First of all, there\u2019s going to be a few more releases from Huawei due. Whether or not these will keep at the top of the market is unknown. With the loss of Google, it may seem that these handsets are now completely different however, they\u2019re still super high quality. <\/span><\/p>\n

When it comes to what to expect in 2021, you should also watch out for a few other releases. We\u2019re going to see a number of different releases from smaller manufacturers, such as Honor, Nokia and Sony. These are bound to bring such high quality handsets to the market with brand new technology and features built in.<\/span><\/p>\n
