How a phone looks is possibly one of the most important parts of any smartphone. If a mobile just doesn\u2019t look nice, you\u2019re not going to buy it. Luckily, the Nokia 8.3 has a very attractive design all over. You get a plastic backing, which offers a metallic kind of finish. The only colour option available is Polar Night however, you can get a few different hues off the phone when the light hits it right. There\u2019s also plenty of room on the back of the phone, allowing you to really enjoy the design to its full potential.<\/p>\n
This very high class design gets pulled over to the front of the phone too. You\u2019re able to enjoy a 6.81 inch IPS LCD display, which is an incredibly large space to enjoy. This means you\u2019re able to enjoy everything you love in the highest quality and in huge detail. Nokia have even reduced the edge bezels to give you a very large viewing area. You\u2019ll also notice that the selfie camera has also been reduced down to a tiny punch hole setup. This is again to give you a larger screen to use for its real purpose.<\/p>\n

Talking of the selfie camera, you\u2019ll find a 24MP lens in this small punch hole. Although it may seem like a very small system, it\u2019s probably one of the most powerful ones we\u2019ve seen from Nokia. You\u2019re going to be able to capture incredibly high quality images. Catch every single detail, colour, highlight and shadow in your images throughout the day.<\/p>\n
Not only does the Nokia 8.3 have an impressive selfie camera but it\u2019s also got a very powerful rear camera. In the circular housing on the back of the phone, you can find a quad lens camera, consisting of some pretty impressive components. First of all, you\u2019ll be able to enjoy a 64MP main camera. Every single photo this camera catches is going to turn heads. You\u2019ll even be able to take detail filled photos in lower light situations. Backing up this addition is a 12MP ultra wide lens, offering a new kind of shooting style. Whenever you want to capture photos of big groups of the world around you, you\u2019ll want to switch to this. Essentially, you\u2019ll get a larger frame to shoot in, which also allows you to get more creative with your photos.<\/p>\n
The next two lenses in this system are incredibly different and get you a very different style of photo. Starting with the 2MP depth lens, you\u2019re going to find that portraits have more of a pop to them. This lens will gently soften the background whilst accentuating every detail on your subject. With all this going on, you get photos that look incredibly professional. To wrap the Nokia 8.3 camera up in the best way possible we\u2019re ending it off with the 2MP macro camera. Whilst it\u2019s not the largest lens, it can do some impressive things. Zoom in and photograph textures, details and colours like never before.<\/p>\n

Both these options are very high amounts and should allow you to keep all your data on the phone. Should you find that you\u2019re running low, you\u2019ll be able to add a microSD card through the dedicated slot. This means you can expand your memory to endless amounts.<\/p>\n
Every single mobile phone has a battery to power it however, whether or not that battery is impressive is a different story. To make sure they\u2019re ticking this box, the Nokia 8.3 is built with a 4500mAh battery. One just one charge, you\u2019ll be able to go about the entire day without even worrying about your phone dying. This means there\u2019s plenty of time for you to think about the more important things. The battery does support fast charging 15W so when you do want to charge it up, you\u2019ll be able to do so in a matter of minutes. It\u2019s also an adaptive battery, meaning the phone will learn where to put energy based on what you use most.<\/p>\n

There are a few different notches and buttons on the side of the 8.3. One of the most useful ones is the fingerprint scanner. Using a passcode to access your phone is so last year. It\u2019s also a lot less secure than you think. Memorising a 4\/6 number code is relatively easy and can be picked up over your shoulder in seconds. When you set up your fingerprint on a phone, only your fingerprint can access it. You can of course set up other prints but, this is entirely down to you.<\/p>\n
On the edge of the Nokia 8.3, you can find a specific button for Google Assistant. This means that when you want to get hold of your AI voice assistant, all you need to do is press a button.
