It\u2019s super important that before you remove anything from your phone, you save it properly first. When you still have your phone, it\u2019s far easier to remove the data. This is why it\u2019s a great idea to follow the below steps and make sure everything has been removed before sending your phone to anyone. To remove the account from your phone, simply tap into Settings > Accounts. On some phones, this may show as Users and Accounts instead. Choose the Google account that needs to be removed and tap remove. It\u2019s as simple as that! If you have only one account, you will be asked for the password but this is only for security reasons. If there\u2019s more than one Google account on the device you\u2019re getting rid of, it would be best to remove all accounts on the phone.<\/p>\n
