To be fair, we know that the Chinese team are pretty spot on every time with their designing and this is the middle handset in the P30 series. So, while it is not the flagship of the group, it is a pretty close second, and we really love the way they have designed it. <\/span><\/p>\n

Larger Size Handset<\/b><\/h1>\n

At the moment larger size handsets are in, and there are a few reasons for this. Firstly there is a growing trend among mobile phone handset users to play online games, with the addition of augmented reality and better graphics it has now become a popular way to access games. <\/span><\/p>\n

Of course with each game available as an app then accessibility could not be easier. Secondly, and once more thanks to the ever-increasing standard of hardware and software in mobile phones, streaming movies and TV shows has become the way to go with many handset users. With wifi access, data for being out and about and the advancements of streaming services such as Netflix, it is no wonder this is popular. The Huawei P30 features a stunning 6.1 inch OLED screen which has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels which guarantees an excellent performance and gives you the ability to carry a television in your pocket.<\/span><\/p>\n

In terms of usability the screen, both front and back are Corning Gorilla Glass which is perfect for longevity and surviving the odd bump and scrape, but seriously we do recommend using a protective case. There really is nothing more frustrating than trying to watch your favourite movie on a cracked screen, they may be tough but no handset is indestructible, so it is never worth taking the risk. <\/span><\/p>\n

The front really is all screen, and there is just the most understated notch housing the front-facing camera, and this is all that detracts from the otherwise perfect screen. It has been dubbed a water drop notch, and while that tiny portion of the screen is obscured during full screen viewing it is so small, you really will hardly notice \u2014 infinity screen perfection and a totally awesome handset in our opinion. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Cameras <\/b><\/h1>\n

On the Huawei P30, you get a triple camera arrangement, and this has been set up like a traffic light on the back with the three lenses sitting one below the other off to one side. The LED flash lies beneath this again, and the overall look of the back panel is really nice. <\/span><\/p>\n

The handset comes in a few different colour ways and what we totally love is that they have moved away from a flat colour rear and instead gone with a shimmering gradient effect that is lighter at the top and gets darker as it moves to the bottom.
