Samsung Galaxy S10 – 5G Capable

There’s a lot of reasons why you would set out and buy a Samsung Galaxy S10, as we discovered when we sat down and had a proper play around with the device. The 5G capability immediately springs to mind, but it’s not the only asset this phone has going for it.

Because we want you to know what you could have, we thought we would share our thoughts about the S10 with you, and review some of its features, little quirks and everything we loved about this phone.

Bigger, Better, Bulkier

The first thing that you will probably notice about the S10 is that it’s big. As a phone, it’s definitely bigger and thicker than past offerings, but what you get for that extra size more than makes up for potentially spoiling the lining of your jacket. There’s a very capable 6.7in QHD+ AMOLED screen, which pairs well with the curved edges and sleek exterior. If you want to watch videos, then you should expect crisp footage, a range of colours and a clear display throughout.

In spite of this larger body, the phone itself is quite lightweight, being comparable to other models of the same spec in the industry and in some cases being even lighter. However, there was definitely an emphasis on size here, and as we discovered, that’s no bad thing.

Some Pretty Good Features

The Exynos 9820 chipset is just one of the features that helps to make this device so readily accessible and easy to use. It’s easy, at a glance, to tell that this is not your average Snapdragon build – this is cutting edge software that only Samsung has access to. It gives them a distinct advantage and makes sure that they can do whatever they need in terms of gaming power, processing speed and other requirements.

5G – Exceeding Expectations

Naturally, the main offering of the S10 5G is the 5G itself. This does make all the difference for people who are looking to get this model because to have access to the ultra fast speeds that the 5G network can offer is incredibly tempting. What we’ve got here is an incredible speed of up to 200Mbps, which is an astounding 10x the speed of conventional 4G. It leaves you with no delay in watching something or connecting to the internet, which gives people the speed they need for smooth work.

To summarise, we were really impressed with the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G model. It has a lot of nifty features as a device, and offers people the chance to try out 5G for themselves. Our time with the phone showed us that Samsung have not lost their touch – in fact, they have excelled again. We’d recommend this phone to pretty much anyone, because it performs so well and connects incredibly quickly. There’s a lot of the standard stuff you’d expect in a Samsung phone, and then you’ve got the extra features that make this such a fantastic model.
