There are hundreds of new iPhone rumours blowing around at the moment. With the annual September release coming up, it’s not too surprising! 2020 has been quite the year for smartphone releases, with the S20 range and the P40 series packing a serious punch. We all have so many questions surrounding what is next to come from Apple and these rumours are causing a stir in the tech world.

 

Release Date, Price and Models

Following the trend of previous iPhone models, it’s safe to assume we can expect the iPhone 12 series this year. Again, taking a look at more recent releases from Apple, we can also expect the Pro and Pro Max models to be released alongside. Of course, these aren’t confirmed just yet however, they aren’t expected to be far from the truth. We could also expect to receive a 4^th iPhone, being the new iPhone Max.

With each different model, we would of course expect a different price. Prices between iPhone releases don’t tend to change too much. It’s expected that the new iPhone range is due to closely follow the iPhone 11 prices. These were marginally less that previous iPhone releases, which could explain the huge boom in sales. The starting price is expected to be around £700 for the regular new iPhone and increase to around £1200 for the higher end variant.

Release dates for iPhones have all been on or around the same date each year. Apple tends to announce their new iPhone at the beginning of September, with dispatch names being not too long after that date. This means we could expect the new iPhone in September of this year.

 

Camera Rumours

Of course, the iPhone 12 series saw a huge improvement in their camera set po as a whole. Hopefully, we could see this continue through to the iPhone 12. With the new iPhone and Max, we should be able to expect a camera set up similar to that found on the iPhone 11. This features a dual 12MP camera with plenty of fun camera features to keep you going. Hopefully, we’ll get to experience some new or improved features with this next release.

With the two higher end phones, the new iPhone Pro and Pro Max, rumours suggest we will be getting a new triple camera set up with LiDAR. This new sensor will really help with AR experience. Perhaps we can even expect some cool features to go in hand with this!

 

New iPhone Rumours

It’s very likely that the new iPhone range will be compatible with 5G connectivity as this seems to be the way forward. Many releases have seen 5G compatibility with the S20 range and the P40 range. 5G connectivity has been rapidly growing since it’s release in 2019. Customers have had more access and are in need of a wider range of 5G compatible smartphones. If Apple releases a 5G range, the market will be opened up far more.

Screen sizes on the iPhones don’t tend to increase too much and that’s the case with this release too. Rumours suggest that the standard variant will have a 5.4-inch display with the Max version having a 6.1-inch screen. It’s then expected that the Pro model will too have a 6.1-inch display whilst the Pro Max has a 6.7-inch screen. This range of screen sizes will allow customers to choose their perfect pair before purchasing the phone.
