Best bits of the iPhone SE

With the release of the new addition to Apple’s family, people are trying to pinpoint the best bits of the iPhone SE, but there are hundreds! Apple really have put all their best technology into this one phone. This is the perfect partner for you if you’re looking for something full of features but trying to stick to a budget.

Flawless Design

The design of the iPhone SE has been taken back to the old design with some high end features from the newer generation phones. On this addition, you’ll get a glass front and back with aluminium edges. This creates a super sleek, expensive feel. So much so, that people will be convinced you’re paying more for this than you really are. Depending on what kind of style you want to try, you’re able to choose from Black, White and the ever so loved Apple Product Red.

This luxury design is continued to the screen itself too. With a 4.7 inch Retina HD display, you are going to have a smaller phone. As the common saying goes, good things come in small packages and that’s exactly the case with the iPhone SE! Everything you view on this screen is going to be of high quality and super bright colours. You’ll quickly come to notice that the home button has in fact made a reappearance in the iPhone SE. This is an old feature that we haven’t seen in iPhones for some time now.

Security and Privacy

Apple does not take the security on iPhones as a joke at all. This is something they strongly believe should be a main concern and everything they do supports this. By working on their very own operating system, they can manipulate the system to make sure data isn’t shared or tracked where it isn’t needed.

One thing that has recently been introduced into iPhones is the ability to log in or sign up for different websites or apps using your Apple ID. This means that you share the least amount of detail with these apps and can even hide your email address if you feel necessary. Any emails these apps or websites try to send to you will be forwarded on through Apple so you know your information is safe.

As they use their very own systems, they then too use their own services, such as Apple Maps, Safari and Apple Wallet. Each of their own services is made to ensure that data is not tracked or recorded if it doesn’t need to be. They also make sure not to share information without your permission. For example, Apple News will track what you read in order to recommend other articles that you may find interesting. This information isn’t linked to your identity so Apple never really knows who it is that’s reading these articles. This information also isn’t passed to any third parties. With Apple Pay and Wallet, you enter the details in order to use the features. When you do pay for anything using these additions, it’s not recorded anywhere other than your online banking app. Apple never ties those purchases back to you and doesn’t keep a record of them. Even with Apple Maps, you don’t have to worry about anyone seeing your history. Apple does not keep a record of where you have been. In fact, Apple Maps doesn’t even connect to your Apple ID.

Camera Power

When you turn to the iPhone SE camera, it’s complete proof that big isn’t always better. You’ll find a single 12MP lens on the back of the phone with a 7MP lens features on the front. These are only single lens cameras so they don’t offer the different focal lengths or wide angles but that doesn’t mean you can’t get the perfect snapshot. Both of these lenses will give off incredibly clear photographs with very little noise. You’ll also find that both lenses offer Portrait Mode to make your photos pop that much more!

Portrait Mode is a great camera feature that will allow your photos to harness serious quality with very little work from yourself. The camera will focus on the subject and manipulate highlights, shadows and details to create a really striking image. At the same time, it will also soften the background to really make your subject pop out of the photo. There are a number of different lighting scenarios you can choose from when it comes to Portrait Mode on the iPhone SE too. You can get extremely creative with lighting options such as Stage Light or High-Key Light Mono. You can also choose to keep it simple with Studio Light or Natural Light. All available options will give you something super striking.

More about the iPhone SE

Without a doubt, one of the best bits of the iPhone SE is the price tag. Unlike many other Apple devices, this is a seriously affordable smartphone. Whether you’re looking to buy the phone outright or on contract, it’s not going to hurt your bank account too much. This addition was designed to be a budget smartphone and that’s exactly what it is, just with the best of the high end additions.

If you’re looking for the most obvious reason as to why this smartphone is one of the best, just take a look at it’s powerhouse. Keeping the iPhone SE working with no issues is the iconic A13 Bionic. This is the same chipset found in the iPhone 11 series and has caused quite the stir since it hit the scene. This chipset works with the camera to allow Portrait Mode to be as clear as it is, as well as  keeping your phone smooth. The A13 is currently the fastest chip to hit a smartphone so you can only imagine the quality of processing speeds you’re going to receive.

From just these few perks of the iPhone SE, you can see why people are loving it so much. Not to mention, the price is extremely attractive too. Any iPhone SE deals available are full of value for almost nothing.
