Mobile games are an important part in keeping a lot of people entertained nowadays, maybe even sane. This means that if you’re an app developer, your best bet in getting noticed is to create one of the best games out there and market it. That being said, these are our top 5 Android games, all available on the Google Play store.

 

Boris and the Dark Survival

No, this isn’t some game where you run around pretending to be Boris Johnson and survive in the dark. You actually play as Boris the Wolf in an abandoned cartoon studio.  The aim of the game is to run around and collect supplies to keep you alive. Sounds easy enough. To make it a bit more challenging, there’s a demon stalking you. You must avoid the demon whilst collecting supplies. You need to watch Boris’ health and stamina and help him out when possible.

 

Rest in Pieces

This is almost a spin on Temple Run. You remember that game where you have to run from the monster and avoid obstacles? Well this one, you’re running towards it…whilst asleep… It sounds weird but we promise it’s fun! You have to kill each ‘boss’ to awaken your character and move to the next level. Whilst doing this, you need to collect gems to unlock new characters. You win once you save all 21 souls and defeat each monster.

 

Exploding Kittens

Without even explaining what this game is, it sounds like a whole load of action you want to get involved with. You can play this game with strangers or some of your friends. It’s a fun version of the popular card game, Russian Roulette, full of kittens, goats, explosions and lasers. You take turns pulling a card from the stack until someone draws an exploding kitten, they then die. All other cards are used to help avoid the exploding kitten. If you’re looking for something fun to do whilst you’re stuck at home, this could be a whole load of laughs.

 

Call of Duty: Mobile

If you’ve never heard of Call of Duty, where have you been hiding? Call of Duty is one of the most popular console games so far. It’s a multiplayer game, which allows you to play on different maps and modes at any point. The great thing about this is you can play from the comfort of your own bed or whilst you’re on the train, as long as you have data, you can play. You have a team deathmatch and the last team standing is the winner

 

The Room: Old Sins

This is the 4th episode from The Room series, which has won multiple awards since it first released. You have a set of scenes, in which there are hundreds of different puzzles and riddles you need to solve. This isn’t your average puzzle story, this is actually incredibly difficult to do yourself. You receive a story line, of which you then need to find the ending to. There are so many different contraptions you learn to use and portals you have to enter before you reach the end of the story. This game seriously opens up a different part of your brain and we know you’ll struggle to put it down.
